It had been nearly two days since they had left the tundra behind them. Hunter survived entirely on photosynthesis, but Snowflake occasionally had to fish for the small, frog like creatures that seemed to follow their ever shrinking ice flow. With a sigh, Snowflake shifted towards Hunter. "See anything?" After only two days at sea, her eyes had almost crusted shut, her hair was heavy with salt, and daily she found it hard to breathe and force down the fish that tasted of the salt that filled her body. This story is dedicated to Pikmin World Safari, by Killer Raptor, Our Fair Leader by Sianaris, and to whoever coined the phrase for which it is named. First chapter is short, the rest will be longer though. This takes place in the frozen wastelands of the north, namely the Arctic circle somewhere. Snowmin are described elsewhere. Survival of the Fittest The snowmin's snow white fur sparkled and waved gently in the breeze as she clambered on all fours over the small hill of ice. Her black eyes surveyed the serene scene as she stalked slowly towards her prey. Meanwhile, her prey, a blue pikmin, clambered slowly out of the hole in the ice.

I am currently in the process of rewriting/editing a story with a friend of mine. It will be self published sometime in late January. We are in need of dependable, prolific artists who can make time to draw potentially dozens of pictures for the story. Keep in mind the pictures must be realistic and not overly cartoony.
